Course Overview
This is a trade qualification for solid plastering work in residential and commercial construction environments. It provides both core construction skills and specialist training in applying plaster, cement, and related finishing materials to interior and exterior surfaces. Solid plasterers create smooth, textured, or decorative finishes on walls and apply render systems to external building surfaces.

- Solid Plasterer
- Renderer

Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia Model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required for anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement. The achievement of this unit is embedded within the course structure, ensuring students are industry-compliant from day one.

Certificate IV in Building and Construction
Graduates of this course will be equipped to work as qualified Solid Plasterers, with the potential to take on roles such as:
